About us…
We are an experienced team of Steel Pannists based in West Sussex, specialising in providing exceptional wedding entertainment.
By providing both solo and duo performances, we can cater to any event big or small, covering all locations across the country and further afield. Our repertoire spans across genres with a wide range of options to suit everyone, including acoustic options perfect for wedding ceremonies.
Mica has been performing professionally since 2016, and has played at over 100 venues across the UK. She has played with a number of steel bands in the UK, Trinidad, and New York performing at some prestigious venues. Mica started playing steel pan at aged 11 with Sussex Steel, based in West Sussex and still plays with them regularly.
Jhacquel started playing steel pan at aged 11 with Higher Leven in New York, and has since played with a large selection of bands in both New York and Trinidad. He moved from New York to the UK in 2023 and has since joined Mica in playing at many beautiful weddings, parties, and festivals.

Absolutely! We offer one ‘off-repertoire’ song per booking, with additional songs on top of this at a small fee. Not all songs are suitable, please get in touch to check! Our repertoire list can be found HERE

We can set up and sound check within 30 minutes however we prefer to arrive at least an hour ahead of the start time.

We are happy to work with your venue around their restrictions.
Sound limiters are not a problem for us but please still advise if this is in place. We can manage the volume to work within any space.
We can offer our acoustic duo for any venue with outside amplified music restrictions. This would be two steel pans alone, with no backing tracks or microphones.

For most events we do not need power. We use a portable battery powered speaker, which allows us to be positioned anywhere around the venue. If we are at the venue for a prolonged period we may need to re change between sets, but can move the speaker to a suitable place for this.
